We are delighted to welcome you to Na Fonnadoiri, the Galway Traditional Singers' Circle, which takes place every third Saturday of the month in Galway City.

Singers and listeners of all traditions and languages are warmly welcomed.

The singers gather every month in the year except July and August.

You can find information about some other singing events in Ireland by clicking on the link to the left "Other Regular Singing Events". We will continue to add to and update the page as time goes on.

Guest Singers

Guest singers are invited to 3 to 5 sessions during the year.

We like to give members of the circle an opportunity to hear fine local singers with wonderful songs.

Volunteers

The Galway Traditional Singers' Circle is run by a small group of enthuasiastic and dedicated volunteers.

We are always glad to have help distributing posters or just spreading the word!

Saturday, June 23rd from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (one week later than usual.)

Location:

The Crane Bar (upstairs) on Sea Road, Galway.

Admission

The normal admission charge is €2, and is greatly appreciated to help cover some of our operating costs.

A higher admission is charged when we have guest singers.

We would like to warmly welcome our featured guest, Declan Coyne. Declan will be sharing songs and details from his book, “Alone by the Wild Wood – A Roscommon Song Book”. We would also like to welcome guest singers Lusanda Masombuka and Merriam Dike of Sinamandla.
